Tree Vase Small Red (1)

Enjoy our Tree pattern in Festive Red. The Tree design is inspired by my favourite children's illustrations. It's simple shape can double as an elegant utensil holder. I throw the pot on my small potter's wheel and leave it to dry out slightly. I trim the base and handpaint the graphic Tree pattern on the exterior. A week left to dry in a hot studio and then it goes into the kiln for the first firing, called the biscuit firing. Glazing comes next using a transparent glaze and then it's back into the kiln for it's final firing at a temperature of 1220 degrees celsius. Height 12 - 14  cms x 7 cms ( Image shows height of large vase in comparison to the small vase)
