Welcome to Brookwood Pottery where you will spend the day learning about pottery and how to use the potter's wheel. Each student has their own electric wheel for the day and unlimited clay. In a small class of 4 we will guide you through the steps of creating on the potter's wheel, centring, coning in, throwing and shaping the clay.
The day runs from 10am to 4pm with a 1 hour lunch break (Loads of nice cafes in the area to choose from including Kennedy's, 2 Pups Cafe, Javaholics and Fresh Market).
Each student will get to pick 2 of their best pots which we will fire and glaze for you. Please call 2/3 weeks after the class to check if your pots are ready!

Bus - From City Centre, 14, 15, 27 , 27A. 27B , 42 43
Car - Limited free parking in Marino Estate behind the pottery, paid on street car parking in front of pottery.
What to bring/ wear:
- An apron
- A tea towel
- Wear old loose comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting dirty!
- Please keep nails short and tie up loose hair
Cancellations/ Refunds:
We do not offer refunds on these classes. If you cannot make a class you can offer it to a friend, but please let us know their name and number beforehand. We require 3 weeks notice in advance of your class for rescheduling. We cannot reschedule classes with less notice.
