Enjoy our Tree pattern in Festive Red this Christmas. The Tree design is inspired by my favourite children's illustrations. It's simple shape can double as an elegant utensil holder. I throw the pot on my small potter's wheel and leave it to dry out slightly. I trim the base and handpaint the graphic Tree pattern on the exterior. A week left to dry in a hot studio and then it goes into the kiln for the first firing, called the biscuit firing. Glazing comes next using a transparent glaze and then it's back into the kiln for it's final firing at a temperature of 1220 degrees celsius.
