Open to people with some throwing experience and those who have completed our 5 week evening class. Join us on a 5 week pottery course at Brookwood Pottery. Taught by Elaine Fallon, founder of Brookwood Pottery on Tuesdays from 6.30 to 9 pm . This course is based on the potter's wheel (no handbuilding) and topics covered will include centring, throwing, handling, trimming, glazing and firing work as well as general best studio practice.
Each student will get 8 fully fired pieces at the end of the workshop! Please call 2/3 weeks after the class to check if the work is ready.
Maximum class size 6 people. Refunds requested more than 3 weeks prior to the first class are fully refundable. There will be no refunds once the class begins in any circumstance, nor can we transfer you to another class or make up missed classes. Should a class not fill sufficiently, we may have to cancel or reschedule it.
